You can't say OffWorld Designs and not think of Barb & Ray VanTilburg. Now that we have decided to retire. On the road to retirement Ray has decided to take a small detour. After being asked multiple times about bringing back old designs. He is going to be offering old designs on t-shirts. Not only old designs, but new designs that have never been in print. These will be produced and shipped by our production partner. Ray also has been busy creating new art for a wide variety of things. Such as open edition prints, limited edition prints, pins, stickers, as well as original art.

Raymond VanTilburg

I found Science Fiction Conventions in the early 80's. That's were I started producing t-shirts with my art and hand airbrushing each one. Which evolved into OffWorld Designs, doing 40-50 shows a year, selling t-shirts. I have been designing and producing shirts for several of the conventions including, Norwescon, Windycon, Arisia, Worldcons: Interaction, Anticipation, Chicon 7, Loncon 3, Sasquan, MidAmeriCon II, and Dublin and many others. Over the years I have been honored to be the Artist Guest and have received awards at several conventions. My personal art was always squeezed in when there were a few minutes. I have been doing quite a bit of personal art and showing at more conventions. In 2020 I opened an Etsy store since there weren't going to be any conventions to sell art at for at least a year or two. Working primarily in Graphite, Acrylics, & Watercolor. Usually a mixed media of these and other media. The bulk of my art is Fantasy, Science Fiction oriented landscapes spacescapes, surrealistic & imaginary images. Really a wide range of subjects and styles probably from my years of designing for convention shirts.
